An RCMC (Registration Cum Membership Certificate) is the certificate of registration and membership issued to an exporter by an Export Promotion Council, a Commodity Board or FIEO. It is required to apply for most benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy and is valid for 5 years.
Which body issues the RCMC?
The council that covers your main export product, for example AEPC for apparel or EEPC India for engineering goods. Multi-product exporters often register with FIEO. See Export Promotion Council.
How do you apply?
Through the DGFT online platform, choosing the right council. See our RCMC service.
