Who we help

Export registrations and incentives for textile and apparel exporters

By the Import Export Advisor advisory teamLast updated

Textile and apparel exporters claim RoSCTL on garments and made-ups (ITC HS chapters 61, 62 and 63) and RoDTEP on other textile products like yarn and fabric; both are extended to 31 December 2026 as of October 2026. Garment exporters usually take their RCMC from the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC). Import Export Advisor handles the registrations and scrip claims for ₹999 each.

Which incentive applies to your textile product?

Garments (chapters 61 and 62) and made-ups (chapter 63) get RoSCTL. Fibre, yarn, fabric and other textiles outside those chapters get RoDTEP.

Which council should a textile exporter join?

Garment exporters usually register with AEPC; other textile segments have their own councils, such as for cotton textiles, synthetic textiles, handlooms or carpets. We match the council to your main product.

Can textile exporters also claim drawback?

Yes, where duty-paid imported inputs such as trims, accessories or synthetic yarn are used, drawback can generally be claimed alongside RoSCTL or RoDTEP.
