By the Import Export Advisor advisory teamLast updated

RoSCTL (Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies) is the Ministry of Textiles scheme that rebates embedded state and central taxes on exports of apparel and made-ups, classified under ITC (HS) chapters 61, 62 and 63. It began in March 2019, is paid as a transferable e-scrip, and was extended on 30 September 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Which products does RoSCTL cover?

Garments in chapters 61 and 62 and made-ups such as bed linen and towels in chapter 63. Other textiles get RoDTEP; see RoDTEP vs RoSCTL.

How is RoSCTL claimed?

Declared on the shipping bill and generated as an e-scrip on ICEGATE. See our RoSCTL service.
