What is ICEGATE?

By the Import Export Advisor advisory teamLast updated

ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Gateway) is the online portal of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs through which shipping bills and bills of entry are filed and tracked, AD Codes and bank accounts are registered, RoDTEP and RoSCTL e-scrips are generated, and drawback and IGST refunds are followed.

Who needs an ICEGATE account?

Customs brokers file on their own accounts, but exporters need their own ICEGATE registration to register an AD Code, generate scrips and see their own refunds.

What is needed to register?

An IEC, a Class 3 DSC and verified email and mobile. See our ICEGATE service.
